Wedding Videography at The Estate at Cherokee Dock, Lebanon, TN

A white-columned estate on Old Hickory Lake: sunset over the water and shoreline aerials that carry the film.

The place

A setting for your story.

A white-columned lakefront estate on Old Hickory Lake, best known as Reba McEntire's former home, with ceremonies on the lawn facing the water. Sunset happens over the lake here, which means the best light of the day arrives with a mirror underneath it.

Both options are full-day, so nobody is watching a clock while the lake does its thing, and drone footage is included when the weather allows. I don't charge for that; some people do.

Sunset over the water is the headline in every month. What changes is when it lands. June sets late and stretches the evening; October drops gold on the lake while dinner is still warm. We pin sunset to the minute for your date and bend the timeline around it.

From behind the camera

  1. Sunset lands over the lake. Portraits go waterside in the last hour of light
  2. Shoreline drone passes give the film its sense of place
  3. Lawn ceremonies face the water; we frame the vows against the lake light
  4. Lakefront send-offs after dark are worth staying for, and we always do
  5. Lake breeze is real. Lapel mics get wind protection and a backup recorder sits at the arch
  6. The planning call pins your date's exact sunset time, and the reception timeline bends around it, not the other way

From morning to night

Let the day unfold.

  1. The morning

Shoreline aerials open the day (the estate, the columns, the water), filmed before guests arrive so the establishing shots never interrupt anything.

  2. The ceremony

Lawn vows facing the lake. We frame you against the water light and mic everything twice, because lake breeze is real and words are not reshootable.

  3. Golden hour

Portraits go waterside in the last hour of light, with the lake doubling every frame, the fifteen minutes this venue is booked for.

  4. The night

Lakefront send-offs after dark are worth staying for, and we always do. Full-day coverage means the film ends when your day does.
