The short answer

Do you film Coptic Orthodox weddings?

Yes. Bebo grew up in the liturgy and plans your day with you. We record the crowning from entrance to exit, with camera and audio positions agreed with your church. Your complete ceremony edit is included with Bebo, personally, or added to Teams.

Beshoy & Jermana’s is an engagement film: the betrothal, not a crowning. Every film is shaped around the people in it.

Before the crowns

The story starts before the church does.

  1. 01
    Before the rite

    The doorway handoff

The father, the priest, the groom, then your first steps into church together. We plan around your parish's doorway practice and film the faces around you as well as the procession.

  2. 02
    The covenant

    The marriage is proclaimed

Your names are spoken in three declarations, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The rings are held together in red linen, with Amen and the Lord's Prayer answering each declaration.

  3. 03
    The room enters prayer

    Thanksgiving and incense

The Thanksgiving Prayer, rising incense, hymns and responses. The sound of your church belongs in this part of the film.

  4. 04
    Fellowship and peace

    Pledge, vestment and rings

The prayers ask for your union in love and peace. The burnus, the groom's blessed ceremonial garment, and the rings are part of this movement, before the readings, not after the crowns.

Two becoming one

The sacrament. Every word of it.

  1. 05
    Ephesians and Matthew

    The readings

St. Paul's words about sacrificial love, the hymns around the readings, and the Gospel of becoming one. We preserve complete thoughts, with their meaning intact.

  2. 06
    Prayer for your life together

    The matrimonial prayers

Supplications, litanies, the Creed and the prayers for your marriage. Your families listen as the Church prays for the home you are beginning.

  3. 07
    Blessed oil

    The anointing

The oil is blessed, then the groom and bride are anointed. We follow the prayers, responses and actions as they happen.

  4. 08
    The Ekleel

    The crowning

The crowns are blessed and placed to Han-eklom, followed by the joined-heads blessing and AXIOS. The hands placing the crowns, your faces and your parents' reactions all matter.

The blessing and the beginning

Words for your marriage. A blessing for your home.

  1. 09
    Couple, groom, bride

    The three Wassiyas

The priest addresses you together, then the groom, then the bride. These are pastoral charges about your life together, not personal vows. Their words can become the heart of your film.

  2. 10
    Before the altar

    The final blessing

The altar curtain opens and you kneel for the blessing. We give the prayer and your response room to breathe.

  3. 11
    The recessional

    Leaving church together

The final prayers lead into the procession out. Then come your family's greetings and celebration, distinct from the church rite itself.

Hymns first

You have to hear it again.

“You can’t feel our ceremony with just music over it. You have to hear our hymns, you have to hear the priests that were there, and the gospel being spoken out loud, in order to get that feeling back.”Bebo
01

Audio from the church mixer

“I connect directly to the mixer of the church and work with the audio engineer, I capture the deacons, I capture the priests, everything.” With backup audio sources. The proclamation, the hymns, the Wassiyas, clear in the film.

02

Headsets that cue your photographer

Love a photographer who’s never filmed a Coptic wedding? Bebo wears headsets during the ceremony and hands them one: “they’re about to put the oil, they’re about to do the rings.” He did exactly that for a photographer on her first Coptic wedding. We plan the ceremony cues with the people filming your day.

03

The church and the whole day around it

From getting ready through church, family celebrations and the last dance. Full-day coverage, no hourly limits. You do not have to choose between the beginning and the end of your wedding day.

04

Two cameras on the crowning

Stationary angles locked on the altar plus a moving camera, cut “like a soccer match” between them. The full-ceremony edit can preserve walk-in to walk-out. We agree the camera positions with your church and confirm the full-ceremony edit in your proposal.

The ceremony, heardYou can’t feel our ceremony with just music over it.We plug into the church’s mixer before the first hymn, so the deacons and the priests come through clear.

Getting ready to last dance

The whole day. Without watching the clock.

From the morning preparations to the church, the zaffa and the last dance. Full-day coverage means we never ask you to choose between the beginning and the end.

We plan around your church’s service and your family’s celebrations, not a fixed ceremony duration. The zaffa belongs to the celebration, not the order of the Ekleel. Photographer and zaffa-band recommendations are available on request.

The foundation is our full-day Nashville wedding videography, tuned for the rite.

Before we talk

Asked and answered.

01

Will Bebo film our ceremony personally?

Bebo, personally or I Do Films Teams. Both offer full-day coverage with no hourly limits. Check your date to start planning together. Bebo films your wedding, with a second filmmaker alongside him. Full-day coverage, no hourly limits. One trusted team filmmaker films your wedding. Bebo leads the planning, with the same I Do Films editing and delivery approach.
02

Our photographer has never filmed a Coptic wedding. Is that a problem?

Not even a little. Bebo wears headsets during the ceremony and can hand your photographer one, “they're about to put the oil, they're about to do the rings”, so nothing catches them off guard. He did exactly that for a photographer on her first Coptic wedding. And if you're still choosing, he keeps a list of 8 Coptic Orthodox photographers to send after the call.
03

Do you film the whole ceremony, start to finish?

We cover the ceremony from entrance to exit, with camera and audio positions agreed with your church. Your complete ceremony edit is included with Bebo, personally, or added to Teams. Your proposal confirms each deliverable. The proclamation, hymns, readings and three Wassiyas are not interchangeable, and we preserve their meaning when shaping your film.
04

What if our church has a different order or an early start?

Tell us your church and the service schedule. We plan with your parish's actual practice, including any separate liturgy and early preparations. The Ekleel is the Crowning Ceremony; we do not assume every wedding includes the same additional services, hymns or family customs. Full-day coverage gives the day the time it needs.
05

Our church is outside Nashville. Do you travel?

All the time. Bebo has filmed Coptic weddings in Atlanta too. We'll go over travel for your location on the call.

The next chapter

Hear your ceremony again. Every word of it.

Your complete ceremony edit is included with Bebo, personally, or added to Teams. Send your date, your church, and your venue. Bebo reads every inquiry. Tell him it’s a Coptic wedding; he’ll know exactly what you mean.
