Wedding film terms

Full-day coverage
We film from getting ready to the last dance. Nothing is billed by the hour, so the day is never cut short by a clock. How we film a wedding
Highlight film
The main edited film of your wedding, built around what was actually said: the vows, the toasts and the moments in between. Watch real films
Teaser
A short, shareable cut of your film. It arrives together with your highlight film. Watch real films
Full ceremony edit
Your ceremony from entrance to exit, edited with clean audio, separate from the highlight film. Coptic wedding films
Same-day edit
A short film edited during your reception and shown to your guests the same night. It is an add-on. What couples say
Guest Messages film
During cocktail hour we hand your guests a microphone, and they leave you messages in their own voices, kept with your day for good.
Private film website
Your films live on your own private page instead of a download link that expires: stream them, share them, and watch them on your TV. How we film a wedding
Raw footage archive
Every frame we film is archived and never deleted, so a re-edit is always possible, years later. Wedding film FAQ
Discovery call
A short call before you book: your day, your venue, your top moments. It is not a sales call, and nobody asks for a credit card. Check your date
Soft hold
A temporary arrangement agreed with Bebo, with an end date. It does not reserve the date. Only a paid retainer reserves your date. Wedding film FAQ
Planning call
A free call about six weeks before your wedding. We go over your timeline hour by hour, confirm your edit list and lock the creative direction. Wedding film FAQ
First look
The private moment the two of you see each other before the ceremony. We film it without directing it. How we film a wedding
Drone footage
Aerial footage of your venue and your day, filmed when the venue and the weather allow. Wedding film FAQ
Save-the-date film
A short film that announces your wedding date, filmed at a place that matters to you two. Most land between 60 and 90 seconds. Save-the-date films
Zaffa
The celebration procession, with drums and dancing, that brings the couple into the reception. It belongs to the celebration, not to the church rite. Coptic wedding films

The Coptic crowning rite, in order

Checked against the Ekleel sequence we film to. Your parish’s practice leads; we plan around it on your call. How we film Coptic weddings

Doorway handoffBefore the rite
The father, the priest, the groom, then your first steps into church together. We plan around your parish's doorway practice and film the faces around you as well as the procession. Coptic wedding films
Marriage is proclaimedThe covenant
Your names are spoken in three declarations, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The rings are held together in red linen, with Amen and the Lord's Prayer answering each declaration. Coptic wedding films
Thanksgiving and incenseThe room enters prayer
The Thanksgiving Prayer, rising incense, hymns and responses. The sound of your church belongs in this part of the film. Coptic wedding films
Pledge, vestment and ringsFellowship and peace
The prayers ask for your union in love and peace. The burnus, the groom's blessed ceremonial garment, and the rings are part of this movement, before the readings, not after the crowns. Coptic wedding films
ReadingsEphesians and Matthew
St. Paul's words about sacrificial love, the hymns around the readings, and the Gospel of becoming one. We preserve complete thoughts, with their meaning intact. Coptic wedding films
Matrimonial prayersPrayer for your life together
Supplications, litanies, the Creed and the prayers for your marriage. Your families listen as the Church prays for the home you are beginning. Coptic wedding films
AnointingBlessed oil
The oil is blessed, then the groom and bride are anointed. We follow the prayers, responses and actions as they happen. Coptic wedding films
CrowningThe Ekleel
The crowns are blessed and placed to Han-eklom, followed by the joined-heads blessing and AXIOS. The hands placing the crowns, your faces and your parents' reactions all matter. Coptic wedding films
Three WassiyasCouple, groom, bride
The priest addresses you together, then the groom, then the bride. These are pastoral charges about your life together, not personal vows. Their words can become the heart of your film. Coptic wedding films
Final blessingBefore the altar
The altar curtain opens and you kneel for the blessing. We give the prayer and your response room to breathe. Coptic wedding films
Leaving church togetherThe recessional
The final prayers lead into the procession out. Then come your family's greetings and celebration, distinct from the church rite itself. Coptic wedding films
