Filming in Lebanon

A day here feels different.

Lebanon used to be the town you passed on I-40 heading east. Until couples discovered the lake. Old Hickory Lake pools along Lebanon’s northwestern edge with the kind of sunsets you plan a ceremony time around; add a working courthouse square and the cedar groves of Cedars of Lebanon State Park just south of town, and you’ve got a wedding town that spent years hiding in plain sight.

Explore our full-day wedding videography, built around the people in the room.

  1. 01

    The light

The lake doubles your light at golden hour (one sun in the sky, one on the surface), and it earns the drone shot every single time. The drone is included on both options when the venue and weather allow; we’d fly it here for free anyway.

  2. 02

    The sound

Lake wind eats audio for breakfast, so we mic everything twice: lapel mics, a recorder on the officiant, a line into the DJ’s board. The wind doesn’t get a track.

  3. 03

    The voices

Your vows and the toast your sister rewrote four times are the soundtrack of the film. Around Lebanon we plan the day around the water, and your voices still lead the edit.

  4. 04

    The heirloom

A lakefront film this good deserves better than a download link. Both options deliver to your own private film website (stream it, share it, watch it in 4K), and you can add the Timeless Video Book: a photo album, but for video. Open it on your coffee table and your film starts to play.

Voice is very important because I can tell how you feel through your voice even better than through your face. You can tell more of the story through voice.

The setting

Where your day gets made.

Wilson County’s shortlist starts at the water and works inland:

  • The Estate at Cherokee Dock ↗

Reba’s former lakefront estate: white columns, sunset ceremonies on the lake lawn, boats easing past like extras who didn’t read the call sheet.

  • Cedars of Lebanon State Park

Cedar groves tall enough to feel like a cathedral, portraits and small ceremonies.

  • Lebanon’s historic square

Brick storefronts and rooms above the shops, a small-town Saturday hum that makes guest photos feel like a homecoming.

Getting there

Full-day coverage. No distance between us.

Lebanon is about 35 minutes from Nashville, 32 miles out I-40 East, closer to 30 on a Sunday. We plan ceremony coverage around the lake’s golden hour, not around a clock, and we stay until the dock lights come on after the last dance.

When the lake sunset hits, we’ll already be in position. What date are you working with?
