Filming in Franklin

A day here feels different.

Franklin gets called the most beautiful small town in Tennessee so often that the locals stopped arguing. Five blocks of Victorian brick down Main Street, the Franklin Theatre marquee glowing after dark, rocking-chair porches one block off the square. Around it: horse farms off Del Rio Pike, the hills rolling toward Leiper’s Fork, and some of the most-loved wedding venues in the South, all within fifteen minutes of the square.

    The light

    The west side of Main Street catches the warmest last light of the day, so we hold ten quiet minutes of golden hour for just the two of you while your guests find the bar.

    The sound

    Garden ceremonies downtown share the air with church bells and passing trucks, so we mic everything (your vows, your officiant, the laugh from row two), because your voices lead the edit, not trending audio.

    The moments

    When you walk back up the aisle married, one of our cameras is already on your parents’ faces. That’s the shot you’ll rewatch at year thirty.

    The delivery
